How can I add groups or departments?

Basecamp doesn’t support groups or departments at this time, it will only offer you the option to add your own company or clients.

If a department is in your same company, it’s generally not a good idea to add that department as a different company. Instead, add those people to your same company, and use project permissions to partition projects by department.
