Can I create subcategories for files? Can I create folders or nested categories?

Admins can create as many categories as they like, but we don’t offer a way to create sub-categories or nested categories. The best way to achieve this is to use a naming convention like “Interviews – Seattle” or “Finance – Receipts”.

To create more categories, go to the Files tab and click “Edit Categories” in the sidebar:

NOTE:Changes you make inside a project will only affect that one project. To make categories appear in all new projects, use the global categories option.
